The 16071 is a hitch that fits a Nisan Titan with the optional factory prep package. The information in the headers is only product categories - not information necessarily about the page currently being displayed.
The Curt # C16070 it the 5th wheel hitch that will fit ON the bed of your GMC and attach to the optional factory installed puck system in the bed. As long as your GMC has the prep package, the # C16070 is all you will need.
If your truck is configured differently, just let... view full answer...
The Curt X5 5th Wheel Base Rails Adapter for Curt Double Lock part # C16210 and Curt X5 5th-Wheel Base Rail Adapter Plate for EZr part # C16220 are very similar, but not the same. The shaft is a bit longer on the EZr model so it won't work correctly if used on the Double Lock. view full answer...
The center sections are different on the Curt Double Lock part # C607-604 and EZr Double Lock Gooseneck Hitch part # C611-624 for a 2015 GMC Sierra 3500. The Curt Double Lock has multiple slots for the safety chain u-bolts and the EZr does not so if you look under the hitch then you should be able to tell which you have. view full answer...
Both the Curt # C24FR and the B&W Companion # BWRVK3715 have a 25K capacity. Both are a high quality product. Here are some of the differences:
• The B&W Companion is made in the USA while the Curt is manufactured overseas
• The Curt can adjust from 13-17 inches in height, while the B&W adjusts from 16-3/4 to 18-34. The B&W would
offer more clearance between the top of the bed sides and the underside of the trailer loft
• The B&W provides a cam-action latch handle that won't bind up... view full answer...
The Ram Kit # BWGNXA2062 fits in the larger 4 outer puck holes that the Ram factory in bed hitch uses. You can see the chain connections are larger with this kit than the Kit # BWGNXA2061 for Ford, GM and Nissan factory in bed hitch connections. view full answer...
The 7,500 lb air bag kit I highly recommend for your 2019 GMC Sierra 3500 two-wheel drive are the Firestone Ride-Rite Red Label Extreme Duty Air Helper Springs # F2709 because of the superior construction of the bags compared to the Air Lift LoadLifter 7500 XL Air Helper Springs # AL57538.
The reason the Firestone air bags are higher in quality than the Air Lift is because the Firestone bags are constructed with four layers of rubber which is reinforced, while the Air Lift bags are a double-ply... view full answer...
The air spring kit I recommend for your 2020 GMC Sierra 3500 is the Firestone Ride-Rite Red Label # F2709. Firestone air bags are less likely to leak and overall more reliable thanks to their rolled crimp seal that keeps the bags securely anchored to the metal end plates. This is superior to the standard band style clamp designed used on the Air Lift bags, like the LoadLifter 7500 XL Air Helper Springs # AL57541.
Another advantage of the Firestone kit is that it gives you the option to... view full answer...
I can definitely help and point you in the right direction. Both brands make a great quality air bag kit. Personally I prefer the Firestone Ride-Rite # F2709. The air bags themselves are known to be more durable than others. They can hold more PSI (150) than other brands as well.
You will also want to go with a heavy duty onboard compressor. I recommend the Firestone Air Command # F2219. A dual path compressor will allow each bag to be filled independently, which will be ideal for a truck... view full answer...
I looked up Prometer tires because I have not heard of them before. Based on what I have found they are basically an economy brand. Provider tires on the other hand are a premium brand and what some RV and trailer manufacturers use in the production of RVs/trailers. I may be a little biased but based on what I know if it were my trailer I would run the Provider tires any day of the week over the Prometer.
Provider ST235/85R16 Radial Trailer Tire - Load Range G # TTWPRG235R16 is a great... view full answer...
For air bags on your 2022 GMC Sierra 3500 I would recommend the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs - Double Convoluted - Rear Axle # F2613 over the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 # AL57341. Since they have the same capacity the difference to focus on is in the construction. The construction of the Firestone air bags is superior to the Air Lift.
The Air Lift bags are constructed of 2-ply, fabric-reinforced rubber while the Firestone has 4 layers of reinforced rubber for added durability.... view full answer...
While both are high-quality hitches that fit your 2020 GMC Sierra 3500 long bed, the B&W Companion is considered the best 5th wheel hitch in the industry.
The Curt A25 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # C24FR has a very good dual-jaw system and a nice, easy-to-use color-coded indicator system for coupling and uncoupling, which is why people really like it. That said, the Companion is in a different category because of its immense jaws, cushioned bushings, and pivoting head, which combine to give... view full answer...
Though both the Curt A20 # C84FR and Q20 # C57FR that are designed to fit your 2022 GMC Sierra 3500 long bed with the factory pucks are rated for the same weight capacities (20k towing and 5k vertical load), there are a few key differences between them that I have listed below. Both will also use the same leg system, so I will only be referring to the heads.
Curt A20 # C84FR:
Interlocking 2-jaw system
Fully articulating torsion head for controlled coupling and a stable, quiet ride

We recently had a short training session in which the difference between our brakes such as # AKEBRK-10R and Dexter brakes were revealed. The biggest difference is the brake pad material. It is thicker on our house brand brakes. Also, on our brakes the pads are machine cut whereas on the Dexter brakes the sections are snapped off.
The benefit to having them machine cut is a smoother edge. Snapping off the pad sections leads to chipped edges and fine cracks in the material. The performance... view full answer...
Between the Curt # C60692 and B&W # BWGNXA2061 that will fit your 2022 GMC Sierra 3500 with the factory pucks/prep package, I do prefer the B&W. Though both the Curt and B&W are rated up to 30,000 pounds and will fit your truck perfectly, the B&W is American made and I find it easier to use. The larger locking and unlocking handle moves up and down quickly and easier, even in cold weather and gloved hands. It is a little more expensive, but I think it's worth it. view full answer...
For your 2015 GMC Sierra 3500 Denali DRW 4x4, I recommend using the Firestone Ride-Rite Red Label Extreme Duty Air Helper Springs part # F2709 over the Air Lift LoadLifter 7500 XL Air Helper Springs part # AL57538 for two reasons. The first reason is that the Air Lift kit requires drilling into the frame (minimal) whereas the Firestone kit is completely drill free. The second reason is in regards to the construction of the airbags. The Firestone airbags use a crimp rolled design which is... view full answer...
The differences between the Firestone Ride Rite # F2613 and the Red Label # F2709 for your 2023 GMC Sierra 3500 Crew Cab Long Bed is the air pressure and max weight capacity.
The Ride-Rite # F2613 are rated for 5,000lbs and 100 PSI, where the Red Label # F2709 are rated for 7,500lbs and 150 PSI.
Since you have only 2280lbs of pin weight there is zero reason to go with the heavy duty bags, as you are well within the range of the # F2613 so that's what I recommend.
I do also recommend... view full answer...
The TruXedo Pro X15 Soft Tonneau Cover # TX1472801 is a slightly upgraded version of the TruXedo Lo Pro Soft Roll-up Tonneau Cover # TX572801. Both of these covers fit your 2021 GMC Sierra 3500 with an 8 foot bed, and the differences are in the profile of the cover as well as the make of the cover.
The Pro X15 has a lower profile than the Lo Pro, sitting only 1/2 inch above the bed rails, while the Lo Pro is about an inch above the rails, or just under. The difference is that the lower-profile... view full answer...
Though the Air Lift # AL57538 and the Firestone # F2709 both have a 7,500 pound load capacity, lifetime warranty, will work with an in bed hitch, and are made in the U.S.A., I do prefer the Firestone.
Reason being, the air bags for the # F2709 are 4 ply, whereas the air bags on the # AL57538 are 2 ply. This gives the bags more durability and a longer lifespan. Other than some bracketry differences, this is the deciding factor for me.
I did include install videos of both products for you... view full answer...
The highest capacity B&W Companion 5th wheel hitch available for your 2022 GMC Sierra 3500 long bed would be part # BWRVK3715 which has a 25K capacity.
For a higher capacity alternative, the Curt # C36WR PowerRide has a 30K capacity. The hitch has a actuating handle that's specially designed to be comfortable to use. The hitch also has an integrated teflon lube plate, so you wouldn't need to use any grease on the skid. Both features aren't found on the Companion.
Both hitches have dampened... view full answer...
In a nutshell, the MX4 part # BAK448133 is of a slightly higher quality than the # BAK226133 G2. The MX4 has a 5 year warranty versus the 3 year for the G2. The MX4 has a matte finish that does a better job of hiding imperfections and scratches than the gloss finish used on the G2, and the MX4 just feels a bit more substantial as if it'd hold up a bit better over time.
Also, the rear seal of MX4 allows you to close the tailgate whether the tonneau is open or not. With the G2, the tonneau... view full answer...
